And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own? (Luke 16:12)
How do you expect your business to thrive when you become a business owner, if today as an employee, you take home office supplies, falsify receipts and timesheets, and constantly run your boss down?
God commands us in Colossians 3:
Servants… don’t just do the minimum that will get you by. Do your best. Work from the heart for your real Master, for God, confident that you’ll get paid in full when you come into your inheritance. Keep in mind always that the ultimate Master you’re serving is Christ. The sullen servant who does shoddy work will be held responsible. Being a follower of Jesus doesn’t cover up bad work (Col 3:22-25 MSG).
Remember God rewards faithfulness…And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.
