Psalm 119:11

I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you (Psa 119:11 NLT).   Hide means – to hide (by covering over); by implication to hoard or reserve ; to protect, (keep) secret (-ly, place).   The devil snatches whatever word we don’t understand from our heart (Matt 13:19) so we need to hide and not just read, hear and forget God’s word   For God’s word to be hidden in our heart we must understand His word that we hear or read. We must write His word on the tables our heart with the pen of our tongue. Read aloud, prayerfully meditate on God’s word, journal what you learn as you read.   May the Lord open the eyes of your heart as you read His word.

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people (Eph 1:17-18 NIV).
